Workshop & Retreat Policies

Payment Policy:   After you have made your Workshop or Retreat Payment, a confirmation will be emailed to you.  For Workshops or Retreats that have a waiting list, a 24- hour courtesy hold will be offered.

Retreat Cancellations

Definitions:   “Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Retreat or Workshop with Rebecca Cherry, including postponing or rescheduling. “You” refers to the guest booking a Rebecca Cherry Retreat. “We” refers to Rebecca Cherry Retreats and Workshops. It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please consider purchasing travel cancellation insurance.

Travel Cancellation Insurance:   Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance through your travel agent, or visit the following web site to compare insurers: www.worldnomads.com.

Guest Cancellation Policy:   We realize that sometimes even the most airtight plans can change, and we will do our best to be flexible if you should have to cancel your reservation unexpectedly. We will always work with you on rescheduling your reservation, and will be happy to transfer your deposit in full to hold your place at another Rebecca Cherry Retreat or Workshop.

From our perspective, it can be difficult to fill slots that open up close to the retreat dates, since most participants need lead-time in which to make arrangements for their children, work, and other responsibilities. Since we’re still obligated to the arrangements we’ve made for you, even if you can’t attend, we’ve made the following provisions in our cancellation policy

Rebecca Cherry Retreats will issue a full refund of your retreat deposit within 3 days of making it.  If after the initial 3 day period has passed, your retreat deposit or full payment may be used as credit for another retreat within one year of your original retreat date. We will also gladly transfer your credit to another guest.

Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply. Fees are determined by the following schedule:

•If you cancel more than 90 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another Rebecca Cherry Retreat.

•If you cancel 60 – 89 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another Rebecca Cherry Retreat.

•If you cancel 30 – 59 days before your retreat start date, 75% of your payment may be applied to another Rebecca Cherry Retreat. You will forfeit 25% of the price of your retreat.

•If you cancel 29 days or less before your retreat start date, 50% of your payment may be applied to another Rebecca Cherry Retreat. You will forfeit 50% of the price of your retreat.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed Participant Agreement form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to retreat start date, whichever comes first. Guests who fail to do so, may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.

Rebecca Cherry Retreat Cancellation Policy:   If a Rebecca Cherry Retreat or Workshop must cancel or change a scheduled Retreat or Workshop date for any reason, you may transfer your full Retreat or Workshop payment to another Retreat or Workshop, or you may request a refund of your payments to us, constituting a full settlement. Rebecca Cherry Retreats is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
